The historic period town of Magome. This small town in the Kiso Valley has not changed for over 200 years. It is the backdrop for many period TV shows and documentaries. Magome sits on the old Nakasendo walking trail that people used to travel from Osaka and Kyoto to Edo (Tokyo). A summer tour of Magome is planned for mid 2014.

Another fantastic photo from the Nakasendo trail. Post roads made from cobble stones linked Kyoto with Edo from the mid 1600s. Only pieces of this trail still exist. Join Infocus Tours and experience a walk on this famous trail that is over 2-300 years old.
